Shell vials are a cost-effective option for routine HPLC applications. Paired with PE push-in plugs, they enable quick, tool-free sealing, suitable for non-critical analyses with low tightness requirements (no elastomeric sealing elements in plugs).

With fire-polished necks, these neckless vials come as kits (with inserts and PE caps) and are available in clear/amber glass. They fit Waters, Agilent and Shimadzu HPLC systems, with standard size 8×40mm and optional 8×30mm.
